The Expanse
The Expanse is a hotel with a feel all of its own. Partly this comes from our superb location, but mostly because, after 60 years ownership by the family that built it, we hope that you will find friendly old world courtesy combined with modern facilites. At the Expanse we have "guests", not customers.
The Expanse was built on the northern sea-front of Bridlington to take full advantage of the magnificent sea-scapes of Bridlington Bay.
To the north, by cliff top path, is Sewerby Hall Park and Gardens, to the south, by the broad Promenade, lays the bustling Harbour.
Renowned for being a haven of peace and comfort, the Expanse is situated on the sea promenade looking out over the beautiful Bridlington Bay. Perfect to relax and recharge, or to use as a base for exploring the Yorkshire Heritage coast or the charming countryside nearby.
The Expanse is in a quiet location out of town, but the town centre with its picturesque harbour, shopping and entertainment is just a few minutes away.
Each of our comfortable bedrooms is different and individual, we are not part of a chain.
Most of our bedrooms enjoy a sea view, but if a sea view is not your main consideration you will still find the same quality and individuality in our rooms without sea view, plus a reduced tariff.
In your room you will find all the things that you need, a fully tiled bathroom, television (some digital) with satellite channels, a separate radio, personal safe, tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press etc.. But most of all, you will find peace and tranquility, a place to relax and unwind.
